STARNES: Yale Forbids Students From Eating at Local Diners

The following is a transcript of Todd’s morning commentary – heard on hundreds of radio stations around the nation.

Yale students have been munching on burgers at Louis’ Lunch since 1895. It’s an institution in New Haven, Connecticut.

But the Ivy Leaguers won’t be ordering their famed hamburger sandwich during the Spring semester.

That’s because Yale administrators have told students not to eat at any local restaurants or shop at any local businesses.

Part of the university’s China Virus policy and procedures.

Even students who test negative have been told to avoid indoor and outdoor diners and pubs.

The response from students has been somewhat encouraging — they see this as nothing more than a communist-style takeover. One student said they were basically paying to be a prisoner of Yale.

Another summed up the new policy by calling Yale administrators Un-American nut jobs.

Basically, they’re saying, “Welcome to Yale. You’re grounded.”
