DEVELOPING STORY: President Trump’s Twitter account will be reinstated.
“The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated,” Twitter owner Elon Musk announced Saturday night. “Vox Populi, Vox Dei.”
More than 15 million Twitter users voted in a poll to bring the former president back to the social media platform. Trump, who received 51.8 percent of the vote is the projected winner.
The former president was permanently banned for over false accusations that he incited violence during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

President Trump had called for his supporters to peacefully protest in remarks he delivered from the Washington Mall.
He was just one of many conservatives who had been deplatformed by the radical leftists who controlled Twitter. Many of those individuals have either resigned or been fired.
The question is whether Trump will want to return to the platform.
“Vote now with positivity, but don’t worry, we aren’t going anywhere,” Trump had encouraged his followers earlier in the day. “Truth Social is special!”
“They have a lot of problems at Twitter,” Trump said. “You see what’s going on. It may make it, it may not make it, but the problems are incredible.”
What I find interesting is that Musk and his team at Twitter were able to tabulate more votes in less time than Arizona, Nevada and California combined. Perhaps he would be willing to lend his Twitter team to Maricopa County?
