Everything is big in Texas — especially rallies starring President Trump.
More than 100,000 Texans have RSVP’d for the president’s Monday night rally in Houston, Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale wrote on Twitter.
The rally had already been moved to the 18,000-seat Toyota Center. So to accommodate the massive crowds, the Trump campaign announced they will be holding a “Big Texas Tailgater outside the building.
“Texas is big, and so will be the turnout for our MAGA rally in Houston, Texas Monday,” said Michael Glassner, chief operating officer of Donald J, Trump for President, Inc. “That’s why we’ve organized the Donald Trump–Big Texas Tailgater outside the Toyota Center. Inside and out, the excitement at this Trump rally will be as big as Texas — it’s going to be epic.”
The rally is expected to give Sen. Ted Cruz a huge boost in the polls in his race against Robert “Beto” O’Rourke, a fourth-generation Irishman who culturally appropriated a Mexican nickname.
Incredible numbers for #HoustonRally. 100,000+ RSVPs. I have flown in early and my great team is setting up the first ever TAILGATER for outside. So everyone come, room for everyone. Come see @realDonaldTrump inside or out! pic.twitter.com/92M3qBs5tp
