Conservative commentator Ann Coulter predicts the end of former President Donald Trump in the Republican Party.
The “In Trump We Trust” author made the shocking prediction over the weekend.
“Trump is done,” Coulter told The New York Times in an article published Sunday. “You guys should stop obsessing over him.”
The article was on the reported tensions between Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who played down the alleged feud in an interview Friday.
Trump appeared to swipe DeSantis in an interview with One America News Network, telling them politicians who didn’t outright reveal their COVID booster status were “gutless.”
Coulter called Trump a “liar and con man.”
“EXCLUSIVE: Trump is demanding to know Ron DeSantis’s booster status, and I can now reveal it,” Coulter wrote. “He was a loyal booster when Trump ran in 2016, but then he learned our president was a liar and con man whose grift was permanent. I hope that clears things up.”
On Sunday, Coulter tweeted that Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin would be “DeSantis’s V.P.” if he continues to do things like ban Critical Race Theory and reverse school mask mandates.
