Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds snapped at pro-Trump protesters who tried to disrupt her “Fair-Side Chats” Saturday at the Iowa State Fair. She was interviewing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis when hecklers rang cow bells and chanted, “We want Trump.”
It’s unclear whether or not the hecklers were in fact Trump supporters. One large female protestor sporting blue hair was wearing a shirt with a profane message. She had previously been identified as a member of a leftist group.
“We’re in Iowa and in Iowa we are Iowa nice,” she told the hecklers. “So let’s give everybody the opportunity to hear our candidates. So, we’ll stop until you do, but we’re all going to have an opportunity to hear from each and every candidate.”
