Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to return as Israel’s prime minister, Newsmax reports.
The 73-year-old former prime minister secured just enough votes to return to power, according to exit polls from Tuesday’s election.

The top issues for voters in the Jewish State boiled down to safety in the streets and inflation, very similar to the midterm election in the U.S.

Israel’s longest-serving premier, on trial over corruption charges which he denies, was poised to take 61-62 seats in the 120-seat Knesset, according to Israeli television exit polls.
The final results are released later this week as voter turnout was the highest in over 20 years.
