President Biden signed an executive order Wednesday directing HHS to use taxpayer dollars to pay for out-of-state abortions.

“Okay folks, got a lot of work to do,” the COVID-positive president said in a virtual meeting with Biden administration officials. “Madame Vice President I’m sure you can get it done.”
“This executive order also helps women travel out-of-state for medical care,” Biden added.
The order directs HHS “to consider action to advance access to reproductive healthcare services, including through Medicaid for patients who travel out of state for reproductive healthcare services,” according to a White House fact sheet released earlier in the day.

Federal funds are prohibited from paying for abortions because of the Hyde Amendment.
A White House official told The Hill it would “cover certain costs.”
