President Biden apologized to the world Monday for the Trump administration pulling out of the Paris accord.
Biden, in stark contrast to former President Trump and harkening back to the days of President Barack Obama’s world apology tour, made the comments abroad amid tanking poll numbers and rising inflation in the U.S.
“I shouldn’t apologize, but I do apologize for the fact the United States, the last administration, pulled out of the Paris Accords and put us sort of behind the eight ball a little bit,” Biden told the U.N. summit in Glasgow Scotland.
