President Joe Biden was asked by a reporter Tuesday when the country will be back to normal.
The Democratic president claimed it depends on whether citizens are “smart.”
“I’ve been cautioned not to give an answer for that because we do not know for sure, but my hope is by this time next year we’ll be back to normal,” Biden said.
He added: “But again it depends on people to continue, to continue to be smart and understand that we still can have significant losses.”
His comments came after promising that COVID-19 vaccines will be available for all U.S. adults by the end of May.
