There is fury across the nation after the White House announced that President Biden was taking the day off. The official term is “called a lid” and that call was made just before lunchtime.
“The White House has called a lid for the day, before the pool call time. We will not be seeing the president today,” a message to pool reporters read.
Last night the president hosted a rollicking barbecue for White House staffers complete with a live band.
The optics were stunning – especially since word came down late yesterday that at least 9 Americans had been killed by Hamas. And the lid was called just after Hamas announced they intended to start killing hostages and broadcasting their murders.
“From this hour on, we announce that every targeting of our safe people will be met with the execution of one of our enemy hostages, and we will broadcast this with audio and video,” Hamas announced.
President Trump condemned the administration during a speech in New Hampshire today.
“When I was your president, we had peace through strength,” the president said. “Now we have weakness, conflict, and chaos. The atrocities we are witnessing in Israel would never have happened if I was president.”
Trump said Biden gave “billions of dollars to the world’s top sponsor of terror, tossing Israel to the bloodthirsty terrorists and jihadists.”
“Joe Biden Betrayed Israel. As president, I will once again stand strongly with the state of Israel,” he said. “We will cut off the money to Palestinian terrorists on Day One. And we will re-impose the travel ban on terror-afflicted countries so that the bloodshed and killing we saw this week will never reach American soil.”
