President Biden acknowledged that he had been instructed to call on pre-selected reporters after the G20 meeting.
“And now I’m happy to take some questions. And I’m told I should start with AP, Zeke Miller,” Biden said.
Biden has previously alluded to the idea that he had a list of pre-approved reporters to call on back in June following his Geneva visit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I’ll take your questions, and as usual, folks, they gave me a list of the people I’m going to call on,” Biden told reporters.
And it also happened last August.
“Ladies and gentlemen, they gave me a list here. The first person I was instructed to call on was Kelly O’Donnell from NBC,” Biden said.
Who is giving the president of the United States orders?
If there’s someone behind the scenes telling him which reporters to call on during press conferences, one has to believe they are also calling the shots on all of the administration’s major policy decisions, too.
If the Commander in Chief is not the Commander in Chief, the American people have a right to know.
