President Biden told kids at the White House “they’re not going to let me read at all” when First Lady Jill Biden opened up a children’s book.
Despite his comment, Mrs. Biden said, “Here, you can start us off.”
She handed him the “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” book and made a face to the audience.
“Can I read backwards?” the president asked as Mrs. Biden adjusted the book so he could read upright.

“Go ahead,” she said.
“Brown bear, brown bear, what do you see?” Biden read. “I see a bird looking at me.”
The president was quick to hand it back to Mrs. Biden: “Now you’ve got it.”
