Biden Has ‘Weird Obsession’ with Trump: Rep. Cammack
President Biden has “a weird obsession” with his predecessor former President Trump, Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) told The Todd Starnes Show.
“I’ve never seen a commander in chief talk so much about his predecessor,” Cammack said.
The “obsession” was evident again Thursday as Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris made speeches to mark the one-year anniversary of January 6th at the United States Capitol.
Biden abandoned his post-election promises of unity to bash Trump.
“The former president of the United States of America has created and spread a web of lies about the 2020 election,” Biden said. “He’s done so because he values power over principle, because he sees his own interest as more important than his country’s interest, than America’s interest, and because his bruised ego matters more to him than our democracy or our Constitution.”
Biden went on to say that Trump “can’t accept that he lost.”
“Maybe he’s doing it to distract that he’s failing on all things,” said Cammack. “To distract from the fact that he’s got a handful of crises that he has created, be it Afghanistan, immigration, open border, more COVID deaths under his watch than under Trump, (and) he’s failing on the economy.”
If you ask Cammack, the Democrats and Biden will “do anything they can to talk about divisive topics and to continue to point fingers.”
“It distracts from what’s really happening,” said Cammack. “They don’t want you to think about the reality of your life right now, how you are barely able to keep up with the cost of goods and services because of inflation, how the fact that we have nearly 2 million people that have come over across the border from God-knows-where, the fact that Americans are still left behind in Afghanistan.”
