Amid health and legal speculation, former President Trump said he is “working” in Washington, D.C. Monday.
Trump landed at Dulles Airport outside D.C. Monday morning with his golf shoes on.
Many speculated he didn’t have time to change and was set to be arrested by President Biden’s Justice Department or was making a visit to Walter Reed Hospital for medical reasons.
But the former president put all the wild rumors to rest when he said he was his Trump National Gold Club in Potomac Falls, Virginia.
“Working today at @TrumpWashingtonDC on the Potomac River. What an incredible place!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Trump didn’t go into detail about the purpose of his trip beyond the one post.
“I have received and read the TREMENDOUS comments from Patriots across our great Country sharing their thoughts at 45office.com/,” Trump added. “I want you to know that I hear you, and I will NEVER stop fighting for you! I hope you, your family, and friends keep in touch by visiting 45office.com/ to Share Your Thoughts. We must save our Country! We must Make America Great Again!”
Trump also shared a screenshot of a post from Article III Project founder Mike Davis:
“President Trump’s legal team filed an excellent legal brief, calling out the Biden Justice Department’s political charade,” Davis said. “Team Trump is firing on all cylinders. Trump clearly has the winning legal arguments. This is going to backfire–badly–on Biden.”
It marks his second trip to D.C. since leaving office.
