The Associated Press said more than 40 Ukrainian troops have been killed since Russian President Vladimir Putin launched the “special military operation.”

The New York Times posted footage of Russian troops entering Ukraine from Crimea:
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has declared martial law and severed diplomatic ties with Russia.
“Russia has attacked our military infrastructure and our border guards,” Zelenskyy said in a video posted on social media. “Explosions were heard in many cities of Ukraine. We introduce martial law throughout the state.”
