The U.S. state of Georgia grand jury case targeting Donald Trump is seeking several charges, including racketeering, conspiracy and false statements, according to a two-page docket report posted to the Fulton County court’s website.
The Fulton County clerk’s office could not immediately be reached for comment on the docket report, which was no longer available on the court’s website. Reuters obtained the leaked document before it was taken down.
The county’s district attorney’s office told Newsmax that Reuters report was “inaccurate” and no charges were filed.
DA Fani Willis’ grand jury was set to convene this week, starting Monday, with testimony scheduled Tuesday. That jury will ultimately decide whether an indictment should come and on which charges.
