Special counsel David Weiss “intends to seek the return of an indictment in this case” against President Biden’s son by the end of the month, according to a court filing.
Hunter Biden could face jail time after his plea deal involving a gun possession and tax charges fell through. He ended up pleading not guilty to two counts of failure to pay federal income taxes on income of more than $1.5 million annually in 2017 and 2018.
Biden’s lawyers are expected to submit their own filing by the end of the day.
