DEVELOPING STORY: Thousands of Catholics and Protestants marched to Dodgers stadium tonight to protest the ball team’s decision to honor an anti-Catholic hate group.
The Los Angeles Dodgers is facing national outrage for celebrating the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a drag show group that mocks and ridicules Christians. Watch video of the protest marches below and click to join Todd’s private Facebook group for conservative Christians.
The demonstration came hours after Los Angeles Archbishop José H. Gomez spent part of Friday’s afternoon Mass criticizing the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
“Religious freedom and respect for the beliefs of others are hallmarks of the nation,” he said. “When God is insulted, when the beliefs of many of our neighbors are ridiculed, it diminishes all of us.”
