Former President Trump has officially been arrested and booked at the federal courthouse in Miami, Florida Tuesday.
Trump was indicted last week on 37 counts related to classified documents recovered from Mar-a-Lago. The 2024 GOP presidential frontrunner has pleaded not guilty on all counts.
There are no cameras or audio allowed in the courthouse.
Trump will be represented by attorney Todd Blanche and former Florida Solicitor General Chris Kise, NBC News reports.
Earlier, Trump posted on Truth Social:
“ONE OF THE SADDEST DAYS IN THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY. WE ARE A NATION IN DECLINE!!!”
“ON MY WAY TO COURTHOUSE. WITCH HUNT!!! MAGA”
Trump supporters gathered outside the courthouse.
Trump is expected to travel Tuesday night to his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, to address the nation.
