Chick-fil-A announced it will no longer donate money to the Salvation Army or the Fellowship of Christian Athletes or any other organization that holds anti-LGBT beliefs.

Bisnow reports that the Atlanta-based restaurant chain will focus on charitable giving to organizations that are involved in education, homelessness and hunger.

“There’s no question we know that, as we go into new markets, we need to be clear about who we are,” Chick-fil-A President and COO Tim Tassopoulos said in an exclusive interview with Bisnow. “There are lots of articles and newscasts about Chick-fil-A, and we thought we needed to be clear about our message.”

Bisnow reports Salvation Army and Fellowship of Christian Athletes will no longer receive CFA donations. Instead, the Chick-fil-A Foundation will give millions of dollars to groups like Junior Achievement USA and Covenant House International, an organization that recently boasted about being LGBT compliant.

“Future partners could include faith-based and non-faith-based charities, but the company said none of the organizations have anti-LGBT positions,” the website reported.

Salvation Army released a statement to AJC.com saying they do not nor have they ever discriminated against the LGBT community.

“We’re saddened to learn that a corporate partner has felt it necessary to divert funding to other hunger, education and homelessness organizations, areas in which The Salvation Army, as the largest social services provider in the world, is already fully committed,” the statement read.

After years of defending Chick-fil-A, many Conservative Christians felt betrayed and deeply wounded that the restaurant chain would turn its back on the values of its founder.

Gov. Mike Huckabee, who promoted Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day in 2012, accused Chick-fil-A of selling out.

“I now regret that I did it and that I invited your participation,” Huckabee wrote in a letter to supporters. I wonder how long before they go ahead and open on Sundays? Might as well.  Or just change their name to ‘Ichabod Chicken Sandwiches.'”

So don’t be surprised if your local Chick-fil-A hosts a Sunday morning Drag Queen Story Hour with gender-fluid bovines wearing feather boas and stiletto hooves.
