Clinton Spying Claims ‘Bigger Than Watergate,’ Rep Tells Starnes

Reports Hillary Clinton’s campaign spied on Donald Trump in 2016 are bigger than Watergate, Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) told the Todd Starnes Show Monday.

Reschenthaler was discussing allegations by special counsel John Durham that Clinton’s 2016 campaign paid an Internet company to spy on the Trump campaign.

Is Clinton spying worse than Watergate?

“They were fabricating connections between Trump and Russia and getting the FBI to then do an investigation to spy on the Trump campaign under this pretext there was coordination, collusion with Russia,” said Reschenthaler. “They, in turn, hacked Trump’s emails to create an appearance of collusion, (so) this is bigger than Watergate ever was and I’m not downplaying Watergate.”

Trump also mentioned Watergate in a statement that tore into mainstream media for not covering the story.

“Can you imagine that, what should be the biggest story of our time, bigger than Watergate, is getting absolutely no mention, ZERO, in the New York Times, Washington Post, ABC Fake News, NBC Fake News, CBS Fake News, ratings-dead CNN, and MSDNC,” Trump said in a statement from his Save America PAC.

“This should be a huge story that’s played wall to wall on the media, yet you’re hearing nothing about it on MSNBC, CNN, the rest of the legacy media,” said Reschenthaler. “It’s just shocking on so many levels.”

It may not just be television networks controlling the narrative.

“I’ve heard from people that they’re being blocked or at least their stories are being marginalized on social media when they’re trying to share the reporting of folks like Fox News and Newsmax and our website,” said Todd Starnes. “That is troubling because they’re forcing a false narrative down the throats of the American people.”

The Pennsylvania conservative knows the situation all too well.

“I was shadow-banned sharing information about the Hunter Biden story with the laptop,” said Reschenthaler. “Big Tech cracked down on that story, which turned out to be true.”
