An independent investigation found that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo “sexually harassed multiple women,” according to state attorney general Tish James.
James accused the Democrat, already embroiled in controversy for his handling of the coronavirus pandemic, of breaking both state and federal laws.
The evidence, which showed a “deeply disturbing yet clear picture,” will be made public, James said, according to the New York Times.
She said he engaged in unwanted groping, kissing, hugging and comments. James also accused Cuomo of creating a “toxic workplace” and having a “climate of fear” in the governor’s office.
