Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) called out the Biden administration for withholding treatment against coronavirus from his state.
In a Sunday interview with Mark Levin on Fox News, DeSantis pushed back against the negative press he’s received during the pandemic, calling it “political” and not based in reality.
“We set up these centers this summer when we started to see the delta variant rear its head, and it worked. We were keeping tens of thousands of people out of the hospital, saved thousands of lives. No one disputes that,” DeSantis told the “Life, Liberty & Levin” host.

“Well, as that was happening in September, the federal government decided to seize control of the monoclonal antibodies and cut supplies to Florida and Texas, mainly,” DeSantis said.
“We’re not getting what we need,” DeSantis said. “What HHS will say is, ‘Well, Florida, you use too much of it.’ Well, part of the reason we use more than other states is because we’ve actually embraced treatment.”
DeSantis criticized Dr. Anthony Fauci and others for pushing vaccines and masking while never even discussing treatment.

“I wish the vaccines were sterilizing [the virus], but they’re not providing that type of immunity,” DeSantis said. “So to just not deal with treatment and be hostile to people like me who are, it shows so much of this is about a political agenda.”
But the attacks in the mainstream media aren’t holding DeSantis back.
“If the corporate press nationally isn’t attacking me, then I’m probably not doing my job,” he said.
