President Biden was slammed in the international press after he showed up late to Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral Monday and used cue cards to write condolences for Her Majesty.
Biden was reportedly seated in the back because he was so late.
British citizens who spotted the U.S. arriving in The Beast started a “f–k Joe Biden” chant that went viral on social media.

👀 Biden needs a cue card to write a message of condolence. Very concerning. pic.twitter.com/4hEOdZl98E— Salva Humanitate🍊🇬🇧 (@SalvaHumanitate) September 18, 2022

But it wasn’t just the president who was criticized.
First Lady Dr. Jill Biden made a major fashion faux pas and was widely criticized online, according to USA Today.
That tacky headband bow in her hair at a state funeral. This isn’t high tea.. #JillBiden has no class.— 📍TEXAS ⬛️⬛️ Eliot 🇺🇸 (@TruthsOverLiars) September 19, 2022
The head piece really made my designer friends gulp and they voted for him. It's wrong all the way around, frivolous bow for a somber funeral and her buttons askew in multiple directions. A lot people gunna hate cuz they are emotional acolytes, but calling a spade a spade.— JiPetti (@jijiipetti) September 19, 2022
