Evangelist Franklin Graham questions if the Biden Administration will “agree that churches should be able to engage in all free speech, including political speech supporting a candidate.”
His comments come after Vice President Kamala Harris made a video for more than 300 black churches across Virginia, urging black voters to support Democrat gubernatorial nominee Terry McAuliffe. It appears to violate the Johnson Amendment.
Graham called out the administration: “Or is this another of those ‘Do as I say and not as I do’ situations?”
He concluded: “Did the Biden Administration just give permission for churches to play videos promoting @GlennYoungkin for Governor, a candidate promoting parents and families and countering extremism? Looks that way…”
