Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) is projected to be reelected as governor of the Peach State, defeating Democratic challenger Stacey Abrams, Newsmax reports.
Abrams, who conceded to Kemp, became a star of the Democrat Party after losing her bid to serve as Georgia’s governor in 2018.
The Democrat candidate was hoping to become the first black woman to hold the position of governor.
Abram’s sparked outrage this week when she blamed black men believing “misinformation” for her low poll numbers.
