Hello Americans, I’m Todd Starnes. Stand by for news and commentary next.
I’m not going to get into the legal weeds on the indictment of former President Trump.
But I will say this.
If President Trump was indicted for harboring classified documents, why wasn’t President Biden arrested? And what about former Vice President Mike Pence? Or Hillary Clinton? All did the same and in Hillary’s case, even worse.
Charge all or none.
But that’s really not what the indictment is all about. The left wants to destroy Trump. It’s really that simple.
The Deep State wants to destroy his family. They want to destroy the name. And no matter what it takes, they never want him to step one foot inside the White House.
Rachel Maddow, of MSNBC, even wondered if that could be part of a plea deal.
“You have to wonder if the Justice Department is considering whether there is some political solution to this criminal problem. Whether part of the issue here is not just that Trump has committed crimes, but that Trump has committed crimes and plans on being back in the White House,” she said.
“Do they consider as part of a potential plea offer, something that would proscribe him… proscribe him from running for office again? I don’t know.”
In other words, if Trump promises to drop out of the 2024 presidential race, they would drop all the charges.
Elie Mystal, the Justice Correspondent for The Nation, and SiriusXM host Dean Obeidallah were said the next step is international charges.
OBEIDALLAH: And, you know, so Trump’s got federal charges and state charge. I guess, next, international. Like there’s sort of like, sort of like winning the Emmy, the Tony, and the Oscar. Like, EGOT. There’s got to be a legal version of… He’s got every, The Hague has got to charge him.
MYSTAL: Right? I’ve wanted Interpol get on his behind ever since he tried to bribe the Ukraine. Right? So, like…
OBEIDALLAH: Right! Maybe…

It’s not about justice, it’s about politics.
For further proof, consider what then-Obama campaign said back in 2016.
“It is not enough to simply beat Trump. He must be destroyed thoroughly. His kind must not rise again,” he said.
The Deep State means what they say.
And after they finish dealing with Trump, they’re going to come after us.
