Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was spotted maskless before and after a photo-op on the steps of the Capitol.
In video posted by Breitbart, the self-proclaimed democratic socialist is seen talking maskless in a large group of people until it’s time to take a group picture.
Ocasio-Cortez pulls out her mask and gestures to others around her to put them on.
“Housing is a human rights on three: one, two, three,” the photographer says.
After the snap, she is talking again without a face mask.
Many online pointed out AOC’s hypocrisy and political theater as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) threatened lawmakers, staff, and visitors with arrest if they were maskless in the House chambers of the Capitol building.
Pelosi, herself, has broken mask mandates on several occasions.
