There is great fear and trembling within the Deep State swamp tonight.
President Trump issued a memorandum giving Attorney General William Barr the authority to declassify any documents related to surveillance of the Trump campaign in 2016.
“Today’s action will help ensure that all Americans learn the truth about the events that occurred, and the actions that were taken, during the last Presidential election and will restore confidence in our public institutions,” the memorandum read.
The president also directed the intelligence communities to cooperate with Attorney General Barr.
“The heads of elements of the intelligence community… and the heads of each department or agency that includes an element of the intelligence community shall promptly provide such assistance and information as the Attorney General may request in connection with that review,” the memorandum reads.

Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) praised the president’s decision.
“Outstanding,” he wrote on Twitter. “Americans are going to learn the truth about what occurred at their Justice Department.”
It won’t be long before we find out who was ultimately responsible for directing the Deep State to spy on the Trump campaign.
“They have unsuccessfully tried to bring down the wrong person,” President Trump said earlier Thursday. “That’s treason…treason.”
