Attorney General William Barr submitted his resignation to President Trump today at the White House.
The news comes just a few days after I suggested on Twitter that the attorney general should’ve been removed from office over allegations that he intentionally kept the Hunter Biden investigation under wraps.
President Trump shared that tweet over the weekend.
“A big disappointment,” Trump tweeted, in response to my comments.
The president said his relationship with the attorney general has been a “very good one.”
“He has done an outstanding job,” the president tweeted.

Just had a very nice meeting with Attorney General Bill Barr at the White House. Our relationship has been a very good one, he has done an outstanding job! As per letter, Bill will be leaving just before Christmas to spend the holidays with his family…
