Kamala Harris’ Audience Told to ‘Clap’ in Awkward Silence

Vice President Kamala Harris had a very awkward moment with students from historically black colleges and universities.

When Harris was introduced at the White House event with Vice President and Senior Advisor for Public Engagement Keisha Lance Bottoms, the students stood in silence.

Who is more embarrassing?

“You can clap!” Bottoms said.

The students can be heard laughing, but as many pointed out online, the majority didn’t applause.

“Just so humiliating,” Benny Johnson said on Twitter.
