Mainstream Media Attacks “Miracle On Ice” Team Over Trump Hats

Hollywood and the Mainstream Media were stricken with a case of Trump Derangement Syndrome after members of the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team made an appearance at a Trump rally in Las Vegas.

The “Miracle on Ice” squad was wearing “Keep America Great” hats – sparking outrage among some sports journalists and Hollywood celebs.

“Do you believe in scumbags,” sportswriter Rick Reilly wrote on Twitter.

“Ugh…. so disappointed by the @1980MiracleTeam,” wrote ex-CNN host Soledad O’Brien. “I loved watching that game as a kid with my dad. Loved watching the movie with my kids. To see them on a stage, in maga hats—kinda crushing I have to say.

Colin Hanks, whose daddy is Tom Hanks, weighed in writing, “Do you believe in Miracles?! Meh.”

The vitriol was so severe that the team posted a message on its Twitter page.

“To us, this is not about politics or choosing sides,” @1980MiracleTeam tweeted. “This is about proudly representing the United States of America. Whether your beliefs are Democratic, Republican or Independent, etc. we support that and are proud to represent the USA.”
