Meet the 55 Republicans Who Stood Up to Speaker Johnson and Democrats

Speaker Mike Johnson needed the help of Democrats to advance his nearly $100 billion foreign aid package. 151 Republicans and 165 Democrats voted in favor. 55 Republicans voted against the massive taxpayer-funded package.

The bill would provide funding to Ukraine and Israel but not a single penny is included to secure the borders of the United States.

Former President Trump raised serious questions about the funding package in a Truth Social posting.

Why isn’t Europe giving more money to help Ukraine? Why is it that the United States is over $100 Billion Dollars into the Ukraine War more than Europe, and we have an Ocean between us as separation! Why can’t Europe equalize or match the money put in by the United States of America in order to help a Country in desperate need? As everyone agrees, Ukrainian Survival and Strength should be much more important to Europe than to us, but it is also important to us! GET MOVING EUROPE! In addition, I am the only one who speaks for “ME” and, while it is a total mess caused by Crooked Joe Biden and the Incompetent Democrats, if I were President, this War would have never started!

The rule vote now sets up debate on the four individual bills followed by amendment votes and four votes on passage sometime Saturday.

Fox News reports it is highly unusual for Democrats, or any opposition party, to cross the aisle on a rule vote, but it underscores the urgency that lawmakers on both sides feel about sending aid to foreign allies.

Following, are the 55 Republicans who stood with the American people and opposed Speaker Johnson’s massive foreign aid package. Click here to get Todd’s free daily conservative newsletter – the only way to receive news without censorship.
