More than half of Republicans believe former President Trump won the 2020 election, according to a new poll from Reuters.
The poll, conducted from May 17-19, found 53% of Republicans claim Trump is the “true president,” compared to 3% of Democrats and 25% of Americans.
Similarly, 56% of Republicans and 25% of all Americans believe illegal voting tainted the presidential election is some way, according to the poll.
Biden received more than 81 million votes and Trump more than 74 million, the most of any Republican and incumbent.
