Democrats weren’t the only ones who got into a feud Wednesday night.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) confirmed a Daily Beast report that she called Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) a “little bitch” on the House floor during the censure vote against Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).
“I’ve donated to you, I’ve defended you, but you’ve been nothing but a little bitch to me,” Greene reportedly told Boebert.
Greene said the public feud started earlier in the day when she made public comments accusing Boebert of “basically” copying her articles to impeach President Biden. But it’s been brewing since the last Congress.
When Boebert confronted her, Greene said she stood up and went off on her.
“I said, ‘I’m happy to clarify my public statements to your face,’” Greene told Semafor. “I told her exactly what I think about her…it’s purely for fundraising.”
When Boebert tried to re-engage Greene, the Georgia congresswoman told her, “You need to shut up because the only person that’s recognized to speak right now is [Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL)].”
Part of the exchange was caught on camera:
