Nancy Mace Defends Sex Talk at Prayer Breakfast

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) doubled down on her pillow talk admission during a prayer breakfast this week.

Mace, who is reportedly on former President Trump’s shortlist for a vice presidential running mate, was lambasted online.

“Zero self-awareness. Utterly classless,” one person wrote.

“Here’s your daily reminder that Nancy Mace is trash,” another said.

Mace responded Thursday afternoon with a tweet.

“I go to church because I’m a sinner not a saint!” she said.

“Glad those in attendance, including @SenatorTimScott and my pastor, took this joke in stride. Pastor Greg and I will have extra to talk about on Sunday,” Mace added.

She was met with mixed reactions.

“I thought it was funny,” one person wrote. “Good lord (pun intended) I hope we don’t turn into the humorless left.”

Mace told the South Carolina prayer breakfast audience Wednesday that her fiance, Charleston tech entrepreneur Patrick Bryant, “pulled me by my waist this morning in bed, and I was like, ‘No baby. We don’t got time for that this morning. I gotta get to the prayer breakfast, and I got to be on time.’

“A little T.M.I. (too much information),” added the 45-year-old congresswoman from the Lowcountry.

“He can wait,” Mace added of Bryant. “I’ll see him later tonight.”
