NBA star Jonathan Isaac shared the reason he decided to be the only player on his team to stand for the National Anthem.
Isaac spoke to Megyn Kelly, host of “The Megyn Kelly Show,” about his new book, “Why I Stand.”
He detailed the defining moment he decided to stand for the Star-Spangled Banner while his Orlando Magic teammates knelt for “racial equality” during the George Floyd protests in 2020.
“I know what has helped countless people and ultimately what is gonna be the thing that changes the world and that’s the gospel,” Isaac told Kelly, “and that’s the love of Jesus Christ. If we’re willing to show it and share it. That’s why I decided to stand.”
