President Trump landed in East Palestine, Ohio Wednesday and was immediately met with support.
The 2024 Republican presidential candidate delivered truckloads of bottled water, cleaning supplies, and other goods to the citizens impacted by the train derailment disaster.
“We love you, President Trump,” residents shouted to Trump.
Trump told the citizens of East Palestine: “You are not forgotten. We stand with you. We pray with you.”
When asked what Trump’s message for President Biden was, he simply responded, “Get over here.”
Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung compared Trump’s visit to the Biden administration’s response.
“President Trump is meeting with the citizens of East Palestine, and he will never forget them and what they are going through. Contrast that with Biden and the federal government, who have failed them from the beginning,” Cheung told Breitbart News.
Later Trump made a surprise visit at McDonald’s where he purchased food for everyone there and more for the fire and police departments.
