White House press secretary Jen Psaki tweeted her support for Vice President Kamala Harris after reports of a rift with President Biden.
Psaki, aware of the report from CNN, apparently responded Sunday night in a tweet:
“For anyone who needs to hear it. [Harris] is not only a vital partner to [Biden] but a bold leader who has taken on key, important challenges facing the country—from voting rights to addressing root causes of migration to expanding broadband,” Psaki said.
But many on social media weren’t buying it.
“You aren’t fooling anyone,” Jack Posobiec tweeted.
“Hahaha this is worse than saying nothing,” Harmeet Dhillon said. “Imagine the Game of Thrones machinations that took place for this to be the compromise tweet.”

“I read this in a fake French accent,” Liz Wheeler tweeted.
Regarding the CNN hit piece on VP Harris — sounds like Jill Biden wants to make sure Dems won’t give her husband the heave-ho before the end of his term.
According to CNN interviews with dozens of former and current Harris aides, administration officials, Democratic operatives, donors and outside advisers, “the exasperation runs both ways.
“Many in the vice president’s circle fume that she’s not being adequately prepared or positioned, and instead is being sidelined,” the report said. “The vice president herself has told several confidants she feels constrained in what she’s able to do politically. And those around her remain wary of even hinting at future political ambitions, with Biden’s team highly attuned to signs of disloyalty, particularly from the vice president.”
National radio host Todd Starnes responded to the CNN story, adding it “sounds like Jill Biden wants to make sure Dems won’t give her husband the heave-ho before the end of his term.”
