Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), a vocal critic of mask mandates, is calling out the White House for its “hypocrisy” while kids are still being forced to mask up in some parts of the country.
The Republican senator was reacting to a story about a maskless President Biden signing a bill surrounded by politicians, including Vice President Kamala Harris while the Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff has COVID.
“The White House is simultaneously easing its own COVID-19 restrictions in an attempt to get it — and the American public — back to normal while grappling with the threat the pandemic still poses,” The Hill’s Brett Samuels wrote.
But Paul isn’t buying it and neither are the American people.
“Voters see the hypocrisy with their own eyes: old guys and gals with no masks while they make your kids wear a mask all day long,” Paul tweeted.
“Tell them, to hell with your damn mask theatre!” the conservative lawmaker added.

Earlier in the week, Paul introduced an amendment that would remove Dr. Anthony Fauci from his position and replace him with three separate institutions.
