The U.S. military is suffering from a shortage of personnel as woke vaccine mandates have depleted tens of thousands from its ranks, according to a number of veterans and lawmakers.
Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) told the Todd Starnes Show that if Republicans retake control of Congress, they need to reinstate the troops wrongfully terminated for refusing the get the COVID vaccine.
When Starnes asked if these military personnel can expect relief soon, Banks said, “I don’t see that time coming until next year when Republicans get the majority back.”
“We have the leverage of the majority to push in the House Armed Services Committee to lift these ridiculous mandates and go back and allow those who were flushed out of the military to come back at their rank and at the full pay that they were at before,” he added.
Further, Banks criticized Democrats who are pushing COVID hysteria and damaging our national security.
“Democrats and those who are pushing for these wild vaccine mandates that have been so highly politicized, that’s actually a national security issue for America.”
Banks also noted that military recruitment is down 40 percent.
