Do you think Biden is using Ukraine to push the Green New Deal?

“The reason we got here is because we have a president that’s weak and signaled that he didn’t care if Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine and an energy policy that supports not only this excursion by Russia but has emboldened all our enemies around the globe,” Perry, the chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, told host Todd Starnes.

He also pointed out that China is selling batteries to the country “while we take ourselves off of what is reliable and what we know works, which is the energy that we’ve produced very cleanly for decades and decades in the United States.”

Biden announced the U.S. will no longer accept Russian oil and gas imports, something people on the left and the right have been calling for in recent days. Still, Biden made it a point during the announcement to push for electric vehicles and other things in his agenda.

“It will mean that no one has to worry about price at the gas pump in the future,” said Biden. “It will mean tyrants like Putin won’t be able to use fossil fuels as weapons against other nations, and it will make America a world leader in manufacturing and exporting clean energy technology of the future to countries all around the world.”

Perry went on to advise people to buckle up for what’s to come.

“If you have a Democrat representative representing you in the House and Senate, you need to call them and tell them that you’ve had enough of this worshipping of the Green New Deal,” he said, “and you’d like to be able to turn the lights on and be able to afford your bill at the gas pump as well.”
