House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) may be the highest-ranking Democrat in Washington, but a Republican congressman says she no longer controls her party.
“This party being run by a bunch of socialist Democrats that she refuses to stand up against,” Representative Chip Roy (R-Texas) told The Todd Starnes Show. “We see that in her wasted effort on the floor on impeachment, (and) we see it every single day and the attacks on border patrol and ICE.”

Democrats Using Kids as Political Props
“They’re going to keep children as political props,” Roy added. “It’s the most cynical thing I’ve seen in politics and that’s saying a lot.”
In an article for The Federalist, Roy writes that ICE is not the problem, rather drug cartels weaponizing the border.
“Thank you for standing up for the Border Patrol,” Starnes said. “Folks down there are working hard and trying to do something that, quite frankly, is almost nearly impossible since Democrats are standing in the way.”
Congressman Roy says it’s having an impact on the homes of Border Patrol agents.
“Their children are being told their parents are running concentration camps because of the words of Representatives Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar and others basically taking over control of the Democrat Party,” Roy said.
