The citizens of Chicago don’t want illegals in their neighborhood despite being a Democrat-controlled “sanctuary city.”
City officials want to turn a high school on the South Side into a shelter for illegal immigrants, but those residents aren’t having it. So much so, they started using pro-Trump talking points.
“Build the wall. Make a border. Put them on the North Side,” were just a few things people said in the majority-black area.
“It is a slap in the face that we as citizens of the United States of America do not have the resources and support but you’re gonna bring people who are not citizens here in our community in our buildings that we pay taxes for that you took away from us?” said Natasha Dunn. “That is completely unacceptable. We are in a humanitarian crisis right now. So black people in Chicago are bleeding on the streets!”
The South Shore International College Preparatory High School has been a training center for the Chicago Police Department up to this point. The city plans to house at 500 illegals on the first floor.
“Why would you do that without asking us about our input to the people who leave right in front of the South Shore school? 250 people, give me a break,” a resident said.
Nubia Willman, chief engagement officer for the city’s Office of Community Engagement, complained that more than 300 illegals are waiting at police stations across the city.

Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson lectured his citizens.
“We have a responsibility to make sure that families that are seeking love and support in Chicago and in Illinois, that they are not just welcome but serviced,” said Johnson.
