There is a case of Trump censorship to alert you to in Littlestown, Pennsylvania.

Someone on the yearbook staff at Littlestown High School blurred out Make America Great Again hats worn by two students.

“I just think that whoever did this doesn’t like Trump,” said 16-year-old Jeremy Gebhart.

I write about how Trump Derangement Syndrome has infected our public school system in my upcoming book, “Culture Jihad.”

Gebhart tells Fox 43 that he and his friend decided to show their support for the president during high school’s spirit week back in October.

They wore hats embroidered with words reading “Trump: Make America Great Again.”

“We were like they blurred our hats out!”said Gebhart. “Everybody has First Amendment rights, freedom of speech and they are allowed to think what they want and say what they want but they aren’y allowed to take that away from other people.”

“I was infuriated because he wears that hat because he supports our president,” said Lorriane Gebhart. “He’s not doing anything illegal he’s wearing a hat of support.”

Supt. Christopher Bigger acknowledged a mistake was made.

“We apologize on behalf of the yearbook club,” Bigger wrote. “It is not the policy or practice of the district to improperly censor speech.”

The superintendent called on the community to “find a way to have civil discourse around emotionally charged issues with students.”

Well, they can start by teaching the yearbook club about the First Amendment.

“It’s okay to disagree with peoples views, but what’s not okay is taking your freedom of speech snd using it to take away someone else’s,” Gebhart said.
