The Trump legal team says they have video footage from Georgia that backs up their claims of voter fraud.
They say the video, which we posted below, shows suitcases “filled with ballots” being pulled from under a table after supervisors told poll workers to leave the room.
“The video evidence being show in the Georgia Senate hearing is SHOCKING,” Trump attorney Jenna Ellis wrote on Twitter. “Room cleared at 10:30 p.m. 4 people stay behind. Thousands of ballots pulled from under a table in suitcases and scanned. FRAUD!!”
Again, this has not been independently verified, but this is what we have at this point.
Lead Stories, one of Facebook’s “fact-checkers” alleges the entire incident is false.
“Two high-level officials with the Georgia secretary of state’s office and a state elections board monitor each told Lead Stories that their investigations revealed nothing suspicious in the video. The officials said the ballots seen in the video were in regular ballot containers,” they reported.
