Georgia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams is getting slammed online for pushing for more abortions to combat inflation.
Abrams was on “Morning Joe” on MSNBC when she made the remarks Wednesday before her event where Oprah is set to endorse her.

“Having children is why you’re worried about your price for gas,” she said. “It’s why you’re concerned about how much food costs.”
She added, “For women, this is not a reductive issue. You can’t divorce carrying an unwanted pregnancy from the economic realities of having a child.”

Many criticized Abrams for saying that ending pregnancies would help solve inflation.
“Despicable,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) tweeted. “I can’t believe this needs to be said, but ending a human life is not the solution for inflation.”
