National radio host Todd Starnes called for the top GOP stars to come together and campaign for Republican candidate Herschel Walker in the Georgia Senate runoff next month.

Starnes said there should be a “unity tour” where former President Trump, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and Gov. Brian Kemp (R) show Georgia that the party is willing to come together, in a display of what Starnes calls “Republican statesmanship.”
“I think we need to send a unified message,” Starnes said on his radio show. “Let’s get DeSantis, Trump and Brian Kemp on a bus together, or better yet everybody will get on board of Trump Force One, we’ll hit every major city, then do a bus tour and let’s have a unity tour in the state of Georgia.”
“Maybe that’s the answer here to use Georgia in that December race as a moment and opportunity to unify every Republican in America,” Starnes added.

Starnes’ remarks come as Tuesday’s midterm election results did not show the “red wave” that many in the GOP thought was coming.
Two days after the election, control of the Senate is still up for grabs and is dependent on only a few races that are yet to be called.
