Tom Brady poked fun at those who dispute the results of the 2020 presidential election during a visit to the White House Tuesday.
The football star and longtime friend of former President Trump, along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers team, visited the White House on Tuesday to celebrate their Super Bowl victory, the Guardian reported.
“We found our rhythm, we got on a roll. Not a lot of people think that we could’ve won,” the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback said. “In fact, I think about 40 percent of the people still don’t think we won.”
Biden quickly piped in: “I understand that … I understand that.”
“You understand that, Mr. President?” Brady asked the president.
Right after that Brady said he was called “Sleepy Tom” after he lost track of one play, a reference to Trump calling Biden “Sleepy Joe” in the runup to the 2020 presidential election.
