Former President Trump handily won the 2024 GOP presidential nomination poll at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Sunday in Dallas, Texas.

Trump, who has reportedly decided on a run but has yet to announce, received 70% of the anonymous CPAC straw poll, an increase from the 55% he captured in February in Orlando.

“I want to personally thank each and every one of you for your incredible support,” Trump said as he delivered the keynote address to a packed audience.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) came in second at 21% and no one else could get more than 1% of the vote.

In another question, with Trump off the ballot, DeSantis won 68% of the vote, with former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at 5%, Donald Trump Jr. and Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas both at 4%, and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem at 3%.
